What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a unique holistic form of healing based on universal principles discovered by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago.

The basic principle of this method of healing is the Law of Similars. This law holds that a substance has the ability to cure symptoms similar to those it has the ability to create in a healthy person. This discovery inspired the name Homeopathy. Derived from Latin, the word  'homeo' meaning similar and the suffix 'pathy' meaning suffering.

In preparing Homeopathic remedies a variety of single substances can be used including minerals, plants and animals. These substances are diluted many times in such a manner that only the vibrational imprint remains in the water. The water imprinted with the essence of a substance is misted onto sugar pellets. The resulting pellets are referred to as remedies.

Most remedies are prepared in this manner until they no longer contain molecules of the substance. The remedies are therefore not physical and do not have a physiological effect on the body. The effect is on the vibration part of our being, which Hahnemann refers to as the vital force.

These remedies are employed to help restore harmony to the spiritual vital force which governs the mental, emotional and physical aspects.

According to the principles of Homeopathy, the complaints of each individual serve to reveal the disturbance on a deeper level. To the trained eye of the Homeopath these signs help to convict the dis-ease. According to the Organon of Medicine, these symptoms help the Homeopath to see the "derangement of the vital force" and guide them to the most appropriate remedy to suit that individual's needs.

When the natural harmony and free flow of life are restored to the spirit, through the use of Homeopathic remedies, the symptoms used to communicate 'dis-order' are no longer necessary. The objective is to restore the vital force. As a side effect, the physical signs are often resolved relative to what the vital force perceives as important to overall well being.

It is my intention with the help of the Creator and Homeopathic remedies to assist in returning to order and harmony the spiritual vital force where dis-order and chaos once existed. To educate, inspire and empower those who seek help in the removal of blocks and a restoration of the free flow of life.
