What can I expect from a Homeopathic Consultation?  Be prepared to share in detail your life story, including the difficulties you have had until now.  It is the qualities that make your experiences unique that help your Homeopath find the most appropriate remedy for your individual case.  Some of the indicators that help guide the Homeopath to the appropriate remedy can be found in: relationships, surroundings, environment, habits, patterns, likes and dislikes, professions, hobbies, and special interests.

How long does a consultation require?   Initially, you will provide a list of written complaints by email or fax prior to your consultation.  This will help the process move more quickly.  Your appointment could take 30min-1hour. The appointment does not limit the time that will be spent on your case for analysis and further questions that can be asked by phone.  After the initial consultation follow ups are scheduled every 4-6 weeks for adjustments in frequency and potency. For your convenience, most follow ups can be handled by phone and can take about 15 minutes.  It is years of study, observation and experience that enable cases to be handled in a timely manner.

What are the fees involved?  The fee for becoming a member of the association and the initial consultation is $250.   The subsequent follow ups are $95.   For families, a special rate is available for additional members.  Your initial appointment can be made in person at the Alpine Earth Center Office in Silverthorne, at Finis Boni in Edwards or by phone. 

How often do I need a follow up?  Follow ups are needed every 5-6weeks. Homeopathic remedies are different from medications in many ways and cannot be taken regularly without changes being made in frequency and potency. Keeping regular appointments within the 5-6 week time frame will support the momentum of the process of rebuilding vitality.

Can homeopathic remedies act quickly? The remedies have the ability to act on the vital force immediately.  In turn, this spiritual vital force makes changes according to what is perceived as most important to overall well being.  More severe symptoms, like difficulty breathing, can improve quickly, while something that is not as life threatening, like a rash, can take more time to resolve.  In conditions that have developed over several years, the average client will follow a protocol for 2-3 years.  In acute cases, a complaint that comes on within a few days, can be turned around quickly.

How long will it take to see changes?   The time needed depends on several factors including, the length of time since symptoms first appeared, mentally, emotionally and physically; and the severity of the symptoms.  Each individual case moves at it's own unique pace.  As a general guideline, if a person has been experiencing the manifestation of a symptom for 2yrs, it could take approximately half that time to re-balance the system making it no longer necessary for the system to send out that signal.

Can Homeopathy help with X, Y or Z? To answer this question it is important to understand that a Homeopath recognizes the so called 'dis-ease' as a derangement of the spiritual vital force.

This derangement is made known to the trained observer through signs indicating that something is wrong emotionally, mentally or physically. These signs are not limited to the physical. In fact, these signs are made apparent to varying degrees on many levels before they manifest physically.

In both rare and common complaints, the health of the vital force that governs the body determines the changes that occur. A positive influence on the vital force is made possible through the skillful application of Homeopathic principles and the employment of Homeopathic remedies. To make a lasting positive spiritual change in the vital force is my objective as a Hahnemannian Homeopath. The physical symptoms that fall away are a side effect of this work.
